- Auto Debit: If you were signed up for Automatic Payment Withdrawals through your previous servicer, there is no need to re-apply. If your payment was scheduled to be withdrawn, we do not anticipate an interruption. Please allow 3-4 business days from the day you receive your transfer notification letter for all of your billing and Auto Debit information to be available on our website. If you are actively on Auto Debit and you make additional payments, Auto Debit will continue for the full payment amount. If you would like to suspend Auto Debit once your account is transferred to MOHELA, please contact us directly.
- Electronic Correspondence: Sign up for Paperless with MOHELA. Enjoy the convenience of electronic MOHELA communications including viewing your bills and important documents on our secure website.
- Online Bill Pay: Create an online account to schedule payments. You may make one-time payments by scheduling the payment amount and date to post your payment.
- Notifications: Sign up for notifications (payment reminders, payment receipt notices and text messages if you forget to make a payment)
- Military Benefits: If you are a member of the military, there are special benefits and repayment options available for your loans.
